This is a great resource to use in the classroom when introducing the new 'qu' sound. There is a mix of games and interactive games such as POP. I usually use this PowerPoint for the full week when introducing a sound. I have included notes at the start of each game to show you how we play it in class. I also use a mix of some of my worksheets on my store which are shown at the end of the PowerPoint. These games are challenging and engaging for the children. At the start of the PowerPoint the children will go through some words with this sound. We usually run through these most days and the children love calling these out.
With the new POP game always make sure you press on the middle of the popcorn. It will move other popcorns if you don't do this.
This digraph PowerPoint includes 52 slides of fun activities that can be done on the whiteboard. It is a nice resource to have all in the one place. I have these PowerPoints for most of the digraphs and the children get used to the run of the PowerPoint.
