In class we use a dictation book for cvc words or new digraph or family rhymes. I have found that some children found it difficult to break the sounds up or know how many letters each word had. I wanted to come up with a few worksheets that would make it easier for the children to use when the teacher is calling out words or sentences they want them to write down. I have created little boxes for each sound to make it easier for the children to identify the individual sounds.
These worksheets can also be used in stations and you can place them in wipe clean sheets and the children can work on rhymes , cvc words or digraphs.
